Hey, if your my postman – the “No Junk Mail” sign above my letter-box and being registered with the Door-to-door scheme, meant you shouldn’t have put that flyer in my letter box this morning
Won’t mention the company of the flier – but no – won’t be ordering them, I never order from spam
While most companies get it right first time, for some it’s like getting blood out of stone, due to a computer technical issue and based on that the companies who send me an email is about something simple, they should have got right first time but didn’t, my email address will no longer work
Update (03/06/25): As my phone will no longer function as it’s on 3G – I’ve decided based on the above – not to upgrade my phone, so you’ll no longer be able to SMS or email me.
I’ve changed mobile provider to O2 and something seems to have gone wrong. Please try again Monday. Had email problems earlier in the week too – sorry
Unfortunately an issue has arisen with my backup Vodafone number as well, which I’d ensured I had an EE and Vodafone number, should there be a failure of the O2 network which had happened a few years ago.
05/05/24 Update: Vodafone aren’t able to fix number – I’m no longer contactable on Vodafone, therefore have no plans to continue with an EE number either, so will only be contactable on O2, once that is fixed
05/05/24 Another update: Seems Vodafone might be able to fix it in 24 hours, so I’ll be keeping my EE number afterall.
06/05/24 Another update: Vodafone have managed to reconnect my Vodafone number 🙂 so my Vodafone and EE numbers remain unchanged YAY!!
Ok, so someone who doesn’t understand how email works has signed up using my hotmail account for Facebook and they’ve been allowing this person to use my email, until 25 May 2021 when they finally did something. I now send them my ID to get it removed, but because my name doesn’t match the person who subscribed, I can’t get my facebook account to use my hotmail address.
Next on the list to disappear is Facebook and Whatsapp – 1 May!!
What the hell is going on, I’ve been waiting like years for someone at Facebook to do something about this. Do I need to take out a Facebook ad or something?!
Just so you know, yes, I do know WhatsApp isn’t linked to Facebook. I’m getting rid of Twitter, as I’m bored of having to call it X now.
If your facebook, yes, you have stupidly allowed someone to join your site using a hotmail account that I own, I can’t prove I’m that person, because I’m not, I’m Mark Owen.
The issue is YOU’VE allowed a third party to subscribe to Facebook using a Hotmail account I made in 1997 and now won’t remove it, please remove it, I’d like to join using my hotmail account. Thanks and don’t write to me in Spanish.
